These pre-installation notes tell you where to find third-party software and how to install and configure your Web products. - Third-party software web resources
A list of Web resources (valid as of April 2018) for installing and configuring third-party software. To find out which versions of the third-party software are supported, refer to SDL Contenta Platform Requirements. Remove any older versions, unless in use by other applications. - Verifying Your Java Version
Verify that SDL Contenta supports your default version of Java. - Setting Up Apache Tomcat
After running the installer, configure Tomcat memory and/or connector threads as needed. - Verifying Your IIS Installation
Verify that IIS is up and running. - Configuring IIS for Large File Uploads
Increase the maximum size of files to upload to IIS from its default value of 48 Kb to enable large file uploads. - Configuring IIS with Apache Tomcat
For IIS and Tomcat to work together, Microsoft Application Request Routing (ARR) must be set up within IIS. - Setting up Apache HTTP Server (Unix Only)
To use Apache HTTP Server as your Web server in combination with Apache Tomcat, first install Apache HTTP Server, then configure it for use with Tomcat.
