Revoking a Reassigned Web Editor Task

If you have reassigned a Web Editor task to another user, this is displayed on the left-hand side of the task. You may choose to revoke this task, for example if the assigned provider is no longer available, if the expiration date has passed or if you would like to do the task yourself. Once the Web Editor task has been completed, there is no need to revoke the task as access is automatically removed.

Procedure

  1. From your task list, click the Assigned to link to the left of the Web Editor task.
  2. A window opens, containing the email address of the assigned user as well as the Expiration Date.
  3. Click the X on the right-hand side of the email address or delete the email address and then click Assign. The assigned task is automatically revoked, and the (previous) assigned user no longer has access to this task.
  4. The GO button reappears in your task list, and the Assign link is available once again.
