Checking files to GroupShare
After you edit project files or you add new files to the GroupShare server, you need to check in the files. Saving a file updates the server with the version of the file that you have on your computer. Checking the file in confirms the fact that your work is done on the file.
To check in files that you have edited:
Procedure
- In the Files view, select the files from the project target language.
- Right-click on the files in the work pane and select Check In.
- If you want to change the phase for the files, select the appropriate phase from the Change Phase to drop-down menu.
- Click Check In.
To check in new files that you have added to the current project:
Procedure
- In the Files view, select the files from the project source language.
- Right-click on the files in the work pane and select Check In.
- Click Check In in the pop-up dialog box.
