How to restore ghost tags

This topic describes how to restore ghost tags in the Editor window in the Editor view.

About this task

If there are any ghost tags in the document that you are translating, restore these back to real tags before finalizing the document. If you do not restore ghost tags, the verification of the document will fail and the formatting will not be applied correctly.

To transform ghost tags into real tags:

Procedure

  1. In the Editor window, select the ghost tag (a ghost tag looks like a grayed-out version of an ordinary tag) you want to restore.
  2. Select Advance tab > Restore Tag in the Editor view, or right-click and select Restore Tag from the shortcut menu.
Studio restores the ghost tag back to a normal tag.
