Prozedur

  1. Decide for which projects you want to configure file type settings:
    • For the active project, go to the Projects view, and on the Home tab, select Project Settings.
    • For all future projects, go to File > Options.
  2. Erweitern Sie die Liste Dateitypen und wählen Sie OpenDocument Spreadsheet (ODS) aus.
  3. Select the Common page and then choose which content becomes translatable. Select:
    • the types of text to extract for translation under the Include these types of text label, e.g. if you select Hyperlink locations, SDL Trados Studio extracts the text of the hyperlink locations.
    • Include document properties

Document properties include the document's author, its creation date, and so on. You can extract these properties for translation or ignore them.

'All properties' includes custom properties, sometimes called fields or variables.

    • Process special formatting to process special formatting. Special formatting is formatting that cannot be shown in the editor; such formatting is represented as tags in the target document. If you do not process special formatting, it is lost in extraction. Examples of special formatting are:
      • Rotation
      • Scaling
      • Pair kerning
      • Spacing
    • Extract embedded drawings to extract text in drawings.
    • the order in which cells are extracted under the Cell reading direction label, e.g. top left to bottom right by row.
  4. Select the QuickInsert page.
  5. Specify QuickInsert settings to insert tags and formatting, or to insert text and special characters.
  6. Select Font mapping.
  7. Specify the font mapping settings for your source and target languages.
  8. Wählen Sie OK aus.
