Opening a TM that is in the Navigation Tree
You can open a translation memory (TM) that is currently located in the navigation tree to start your work.
Procedure
- In the Translation Memories view, check the navigation tree:
- If the translation memory does not currently appear in the tree and it is a local translation memory, go to the second procedure below.
- If the translation memory does not currently appear in the tree and it is a server-based translation memory, go to the third procedure below.
- If the translation memory does appear in the tree, go to step 2.
- In the navigation tree, double-click the translation memory or right-click the translation memory and select Open from the shortcut menu. The translation memory is opened for editing in the TM side-by-side editor window and it becomes the .
- If the translation memory is server-based and contains more than one language pair, the Select Language Pair dialog box. Select the language pair for which you want to edit the translation units and click OK.
- If the translation memory is password protected the Translation Memory Password dialog box is displayed. Select the highest access mode for which you have a password, enter the password and click OK.
