Enabling ASP.NET
The Content Manager server requires that ASP.NET functionality is enabled.
Procedure
- If your Content Manager server runs on Windows 2008 (IIS 7) or Windows 2008 R2 (IIS 7.5):
- From Administrative Tools, access your Server Manager.
- In the dialog that opens, in the tree on the left, navigate to the node .
- In the content area on the right, scroll down to the area called Role Services and check that the item is listed as Installed.
- If this Role Service is not installed, install it now.
- If your Content Manager server runs on Windows 2003 (IIS 6) or Windows 2003 R2 (IIS 6):
- Access .
- In the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager dialog that opens, in the tree on the left, navigate to the current machine and its subnode called Web Service Extensions. A list of Web Service Extensions appears on the right, listed as Allowed or Prohibited.
- Check the item in the list corresponding to the ASP.NET Framework version you use (2.0 SP2 or 3.5 SP1) and if it is not set to Allowed, click the Allow button on the left.
- Close the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager window.
