Functional differences between Publication Manager and the Web Client

Some SDL Tridion Docs content management functions are available in both the Web Client and Publication Manager, and some are provided by only one of the two. In most cases this depends on the intended practical application for each of these tools. Here are general guidelines that may help you anticipate where you can find a specific functionality.
