Managing external comments
You can use the Comment Dashboard from the Web Client to manage comments left by visitors to your documentation web site. This interface is only for comments left on Dynamic Documentation, and not used to manage comments left by internal reviewers in a Collaborative Review server.
Before you begin
An administrator must first enable the commenting pane in Dynamic Documentation as well as the commenting dashboard in the Content Manager Web Client (which makes a Comments menu item available in the Web Client).
To use the commenting dashboard, you need credentials as a Content Manager user.
About this task
There is no user groups or authentication for visitors to Dynamic Documentation. Comment Dashboard allows you to:
- View all comments in the system.
- Vew, edit, change status, delete or reply to a single comment.
- Use a link from the comment to view the original topic in Dynamic Documentation.
- Select and delete multiple comments.
- Filter the comments based on properties such as dates, language, publication, comment status and user.
- Change the status of a comment from New to Approved, Declined or Completed.
