Registry settings on the server
The registry settings on the server are set at installation time. The system is built with the registry settings as noted in this section unless otherwise requested during the workshop. Those that need a customer-specific setting are discussed during the implementation workshop and set appropriately during installation.
- ComponentName
This registry value is used by all components as a shortcut to the database type. - Connect
This registry value specifies the database connect string. - ResourceDir
This registry value specifies the path to the location of the language-dependent error message resource file. - XMLCatalogFile
This registry value specifies the location of the root catalog file, catalog.xml. - Login settings
These registry settings specify constraints or rules for user logins. The delivered, installed values are noted but may vary depending on specifications decided in the implementation workshop. - Email settings
These registry settings contain values for emails used by the EmailNotification component of the InfoShareAuthor DLL. The delivered, installed values are noted but may vary depending on specifications decided in the implementation workshop. - Crawler settings
These registry settings specify recovery, timeout, and other settings for the crawler. The delivered, installed values are noted but may vary depending on specifications decided in the implementation workshop. - Logging settings
These registry settings specify the amount and type of information logged to your log files, location of the log files, and other specifics about logging. The delivered, installed values are noted but may vary depending on specifications decided in the implementation workshop. - Publish settings
These registry settings contain values for publishing. - Search settings (SolrLucene)
These registry settings contain the values for SolrLucene. - Timeout settings
These registry settings are used to indicate the period of time before timing-out of an action. - TRISOFT_INFOSHARE_DocumentObjDelete_DenyExpandedLogicalObjectDelete
This registry setting allows you to deny a "delete" action on a logical object when there are still versions for this object. - TRISOFT_INFOSHARE_PublicationOutputDelete_DenyExpandedLogicalObjectDelete
This registry setting allows you to deny a "delete" action on a publication when there are still versions for this publication. - TRISOFT_INFOSHARE_MaxLongTextSegmentSize
This registry setting specifies the maximum size of one segment of a long text value.
