Content Porter functionality introduced in SDL Tridion Sites 9.1

SDL Tridion Sites 9.1 introduces new Content Porter functionality. Some items in this list are the direct result of product improvement ideas suggested by our user community. To suggest an improvement yourself, visit SDL Tridion Sites Ideas.

Content Porter dependency type selection
In the past, all dependency types were selected by default during export and import, in order to ensure that the package could be imported even if some dependent items had not been explicitly selected during export. Following an idea proposed on the SDL Tridion Ideas forum, now, no dependency types are selected by default, neither during export nor during import. This is to give users better control over what content gets exported and imported.
Debugging improvement for Content Porter
It is now possible to navigate to a failed item or a successfully imported item from the Content Porter progress window by double-clicking on the message showing the Content Manager URI. Doing so opens a new browser tab and navigates to the selected item in Content Manager Explorer.
