Publication variable

The Publication variable refers to the Publication that contains the Page or Component being turned into publishable content. You typically access the Publication from a Page or Component variable.

Publication has the following subvariables:

Title or Name
the name of this Publication as specified in Content Manager. For example, Component.Publication.Title or For example, Page.Publication.Name.
ID
the Content Manager URI (unique identifier) of this Publication.
<MetaDataFieldName>
the value of a metadata field of the Publication called <MetaDataFieldName>. For example, Page.Publication.Creator
MetaData.<FieldName>
the value of a metadata field of the Publication called <FieldName> (only use this construction if your Publication metadata contains fields called Title, Name or ID). For example, Component.Publication.MetaData.ID, where ID is a custom metadata field containing a custom ID used by your organization.
