Managing term database sequences
Term database (TD) sequences are a means of associating multiple term databases as a single unit. By using a TD sequence, you can look up text in multiple term databases at the same time.
TD sequences consist of one or mode Lookup TDs, which are used for searching, and a single Update TD, which is used to save translations. Each Lookup TD has a different priority within the TD group. The Update TD can be any of the term databases available in WorldServer and it does not have to be a part of the sequence.
For example, you can use TD sequences to associate term databases of related languages, such as Spanish-Mexico or Spanish-Argentina, where it might be useful to perform lookups in more than one terminology database. Another typical use is for grouping a read-only term database and a write-only term database. In this case, the entries in the read-only terminology database have all been reviewed and are presumably correct. On the other hand, the write-only term database contains only new translations that need to be reviewed before you import them into the master term database.
