Taxonomies and Smart Tagging
Experience Space now enables you to classify content according to a taxonomy.
As in Content Manager Explorer, Experience Space supports both internal taxonomies (built from Keywords) and external taxonomies (maintained in an external taxonomy system). Both user interfaces allow you to manually classify content by editing items and selecting internal Keywords or external Concepts.
- Semi-automatically — while editing items, you can select Suggest tags. For fields that support the feature, the you will receive suggestions that are based on the current content and metadata of the item being edited. After using this option, you can review and change the tags, if needed.
- Automatically — From the list of items in the Content Area, you can select one or more items and use the Autoclassify option to quickly and consistently classify the items without any additional steps. The classification is based on the current content and metadata of the selected items.

Message center
Experience Space now provides a message center where users can easily access any notifications they may have missed. The Notifications icon indicates when there are new notifications and it is always available from Experience Space's title bar regardless of where the user is working.
Bundles
Experience Space now includes support for creating, editing and managing Bundles.
More support for ECL items
- Ability to edit the metadata of ECL items, including external metadata if the external system allows it.
- Support for all relevant user actions. In August 2020 , actions a user could perform in Experience Space were limited to Publish and Unpublish.
- Ability to locate external assets with the Search feature, which supports both full-text search and locating items by the ECL URI. Note that search is available only if an individual connector supports either the Search or Query capability.
Editable Page metadata
The metadata of a Page can come from a Metadata Schema selected on the Page itself (old style), or from metadata fields defined in its Page Schema (new style). In August 2020 , metadata fields of the first type were viewable, but not editable, in Experience Space. In November 2021 , they are both viewable and editable in Experience Space.
Search
- Search covers your current location in the Publication and all subfolders.
- You can also search globally by TCM ID.
- The search box gives a list of recent searches.
- The help icon provides access to quick tips and a link to more extensive assistance with the feature.
