Configuring mixed authentication
Mixed authentication is a combination of multiple authentication types, each having its own priority. If a user cannot log in successfully with the authentication type that has the highest priority, the system automatically uses the same credentials to log in the user with the next authentication type. If no authentication type succeeds, it means that those credentials are most likely incorrect and the user needs to specify different credentials. When you configure mixed authentication, users must log in at least once before they can change their password.
Before you begin
Configure all the authentication types that you want to use. Make sure that you use only one of the following authentication types: Default, Enhanced.
