Deleting file type configurations

You can delete any file type configurations that you no longer need, except for the default ones.

Before you begin

Check whether the configurations that you want to delete are referenced in any other WorldServer objects and make sure that you understand the impact of deleting them. For example, if these configurations are referenced in file type group entries, they are replaced automatically with the default configurations of their corresponding file types after you delete them.

Procedure

  1. In WorldServer, go to Management > Linguistic Tool Setup > File Types.
  2. Select the tab which contains the file type whose configurations you want to delete.
For example, if you want to delete multiple Adobe Photoshop file type configurations, select the DTP Formats tab.
  3. Select the check boxes corresponding to the configurations that you want to delete, and then select Delete.
  4. In the Delete File Type dialog box, select OK.
