Differences between Live TM mode and Non-Live mode

A list of differences in behavior between Live TM mode and Non-Live mode.

User type permissions and ACL permissionsThe following user type permissions no longer have an effect:
  • Can save asset and update TM
  • Can modify TM during upload
If a user that has only Read ACL permissions for a TM opens an asset in Browser Workbench, the Save button is unavailable and the following message is displayed:You do not have permission to update translation memory "<TM>". Write permission is required when using Live Translation Memory. Please contact your WorldServer Administrator. For the user to be able to work in Browser Workbench in Live TM mode, you need to give that user Write ACL permissions for that TM.

LoggingAnytime someone calls WSAssetTranslation. saveTranslationToTm (), WorldServer logs a warning with a stack trace.No special behavior.
