Exporting the previous version of a file type configuration

Starting with version 11.7, WorldServer stores the previous version of each modified file type configuration, as well as information about who modified it and when. You can use the previous version of a file type configuration to compare it to the current one or to restore it in case the current one is not working as expected. Keep in mind that the previous version is available only for export; in all other scenarios related to file type configurations, only the current version can be selected and used.

Procedure

  1. In WorldServer, go to Management > Linguistic Tool Setup > File Types.
  2. Select the tab which contains the file type whose previous configuration you want to export.
For example, if you want to export a previous configuration of the Adobe Photoshop file type, select the DTP Formats tab.
  3. Select Export Previous.
  4. In the Export File Type dialog box, select Export.
  5. Save the file type configuration to a location of your choice.
