Creating DMs
Creating DM objects from DMCs or from a DMRL.
About this task
CAUTION:
To prevent duplicate objects, and to ensure the DMs are stored in the proper hierarchy, always use Contenta S1000D tools to create DMs rather than creating them directly in Contenta.
Note: In the steps that follow, program and code lists are derived from the uploaded DM, and from the CSV file.
Procedure

- In the Do Action drop-down list, click Create.
- In the Actions column, click Create.
The newly created DM objects are stored in Contenta S1000D according to their SNS. See:- How Content is Organized in Contenta S1000D for information about how Contenta creates the hierarchy to store the created objects.
