Exporting publishing settings

You can export the publishing options that you select on the publish interface, including applicability settings. This creates an executable file that contains the publishing commands, so that you can run the same publishing process on the Contenta Web server.

Procedure

  1. In the Contenta S1000D CSDB, select the desired Configuration object.
  2. Click Tools, then click S1000D Publish.
  3. Make your publishing selections.
  4. In the Export Options and Settings to ... field, type a name for the settings, for example, Beta drafts.
    This setting is available to all users who can publish.
  5. Click Save.

    An executable .csh file (for Unix) or a .bat file (for Windows) is created. Before you run the UNIX.CSH file, you must source /pdm/bin/cw.cshrc.

    The files are generated on the Contenta Web Server in the following location: Contenta_home/web/cw_common/custom/S1000D_Publish/export_Settings-name.ext where:
