MNS and Program Codes

When adding Master Naming Schemes and/or programs to a CSV file, provide the code bits in a single, comma-separated line (row) for each as noted below. MNS codes are inherited by Programs when you create them using the Contenta S1000D Manage Programs interface.

MNS

When adding Master Naming Schemes to a CSV file, provide 3 code bits in a single, comma-delimited line (row) for each MNS as noted below.

MNS Code

When adding MNS Codes to a CSV file, provide 5 code bits in a single, comma-delimited line (row) for each MNS Code as described in the following table.

Sample entry for an MNS Code:

The following graphic shows ten (10) MNS codes for the MNS named SDL, MNS Code Type, incode. You must add one line in the CSV for each of the codes you want to define for an MNS Code Type.

When adding Programs (Model Identification Codes) to a CSV file, provide 5 code bits as described in the table below.
