PubManager objects in the CSDB
The Contenta CSDB includes a Publication Management container in which PubManager objects are stored. This container exists on the same level as the Publication Modules container and stores objects in a parallel hierarchy.
- PubMan-SAMPLEBIKE-XYENT-000xx-01_002
- PubMan-SAMPLEBIKE-XYENT-000xx-01_002_EN-US
where xx is the S1000D Issue.
Each of these PubManager objects corresponds to one of the sample PMs.
You can create a change package XML file using any method as long as the file conforms to the PubManager schema and naming convention. The name of a PubManager object must begin with the prefix PubMan, followed by the name of its associated PM and its three-digit change package issue number, delimited with an underscore. In multi-language CSDBs, PubManager object names also include the language-country extension at the end when required, for example: PubMan-SAMPLEBIKE-XYENT-00042-01_002_FR-FR. The following is a sample list of issues for a publication named PMC-SAMPLEBIKE-XYENT-00041-01 that has two full revisions and three change packages:
| Issue Type | Issue Number | Full Revision Issue Number | Change Package Issue Number | PubManager Name |
|---|---|---|---|---|
