When you recreate a deleted data module, an object that contains the data in the template that is associated with the data module type is created. The new object does not contain data from the original data module that was deleted.
Procedure
- In Contenta S1000D, navigate to the desired Configuration object.
- Click Tools, then click S1000D Manage DMRL and IRL.
- Select a program.
- From the S1000D Program drop-down list, click a program.
The program loads with codes in the System Difference Code (SDC) field sorted alphabetically.
- Click Manage Data Module Codes.
- To filter on the SNS by its number:
- Click Direct SNS.
- In the SDC field, click one or more codes.
- In the SNS field, click a code.
- In the Information Code field, click a code.
Tip: To select all codes in a column (when appropriate to do so), check the box below the column.
- To filter on the SNS by its parts breakdown:
- Click System, Subsystem, SubSubsystem, Unit or Assembly.
Note: You do not have to select all SNS parts.
- In the SDC field, click one or more codes.
- In the System field, click one or more codes.
- In the Subsystem field, click one or more codes.
- In the SubSubsystem field, click one or more codes.
- In the Unit or Assembly field, click one or more codes.
- In the Information Code field, click one or more codes.
Tip: To select all codes in the column, check the box below the column.
- Click Search.
The modules that meet your search criteria appear below the Do Action drop-down list.
- To display a list of DMs that are eligible to recreate, in the Status drop-down list, click Deleted.
- To recreate multiple DMs at one time:
- Check the DMs that you want to recreate.
- In the Do Action drop-down list, click Recreate.
To recreate DMs individually, click Recreate in the Actions column in the row for the DM.
