Creating graphics objects

This task lets you create graphics objects in Contenta S1000D from a list of Illustration Control Numbers that you previously created when you defined your program's IRL. Alternately, you can create graphics objects when you upload graphics or at the same time you define your IRL.

Procedure

  1. In Contenta S1000D, navigate to the desired Configuration object.
  2. Click Tools, then click S1000D Manage DMRL and IRL.
  3. In the S1000D Program drop-down list, click a program.
  4. In the Manage DMRL or IRL field, click Manage ICN Codes.
  5. To filter on the SNS by its number:
    1. Click Direct SNS.
    2. In the SDC field, click one or more codes.
    3. In the SNS field, click a code.
  6. To filter on the SNS by its parts breakdown:
    1. Click System, Subsystem, SubSubsystem, Unit or Assembly.
    2. In the SDC field, click one or more codes.
    3. In the System field, click one or more codes.
    4. In the Subsystem field, click one or more codes.
    5. In the SubSubsystem field, click one or more codes.
    6. In the Unit or Assembly field, click one or more codes.
  7. Click Search.
    The modules that meet your search criteria appear below the Do Action drop-down list.
  8. In the STATUS column, click NEW.
  9. In the ICN CODE column, click one or more codes to display the list of Illustration Control Numbers you want to create.
  10. In the Do Action drop-down list, click Create.
