Enabling the Feedback Editor

You need to configure several settings before users can provide suggestions at document level.

About this task

You need to perform 2 specific configurations:
  1. Adjust your Content deletion policy and set it to "Off"
    • if your current Content deletion policy is set to "On", your translated documents are immediately deleted after their first retrieval, and therefore, it will not be possible to use the Feedback Editor.
    • Set the Content deletion policy to "Off" to allow the translation to stay on the Language Weaver server for up to 2 hours, and allow users to open them in the Feedback Editor.
  2. Enable Feedback Editor in your Account Settings under Settings.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Language Weaver.
  2. Go to Settings:
    • turn ON the User Feedback toggle.
    • turn ON the Feedback Editor toggle.
    • Optionally, turn ON the toggle for Automatic Approval Rule for roles of the users whose feedback should automatically be approved.
    The feedback editor will be available for all users with access to the Language Weaver portal.
