Managing feedback

Only users with administrator or linguist roles can approve, reject or revert statuses for feedback items.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Language Weaver.
  2. To view feedback items:
    • Go to Settings > Feedback or,
    • Under the translation box, select the Translation feedback history button .
    By default, the My Feedback table is displayed. It contains your own feedback items.
  3. Select Account Feedback to see the feedback items provided by all the users in the account. To address each suggestion, you can:

    show the full details of the feedback item.
    select Approve to approve the feedback without editing it. The new translation output will be used now instead of the MT output.
    select Reject to reject the item, keeping it in the list. The original MT will keep being used.
    select Approval to undo the approval of a feedback item. The previously approved suggestion will not be used anymore. The original MT will be used instead from now on.
    select Reject to undo the rejection of a feedback item. The original MT will keep being used. You will need to approve it in case you would like to use the alternative translation.
    select Delete to remove the item from the list without implementing it.
