Deploying adapted language pairs

Deploying an adapted language pair means making it available in a specific host. Once it has been deployed, you can add it to a new translation engine so it can be used for translation.

Before you begin

Ensure that you have created an adapted language pair.

For Kubernetes deployments, ensure that you have a placeholder translation engine for the adapted language pair with its corresponding name. See Understanding placeholder language pair engines.

About this task

An adapted language pair can have one of the following statuses:
  • Dispatching: The language pair is waiting for another language pair to finish the adaptation process.
  • Training: The language pair is being adapted.
  • Adapted: The adaptation process has finished successfully. The language pair can now be deployed..
  • Canceled: The adaptation process has been stopped.

You can only deploy adapted language pairs that are in the Adapted status.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Language Weaver Edge using a valid account.
  2. Select the Adaptation tab at the top.
  3. Select Manual Adaptation on the left pane.
  4. Identify the row corresponding to the adapted language pair that you want to deploy.
  5. Select the Up arrow button to deploy the adapted language pair.

Results

After the adapted language pair has been deployed, you can add it to a translation engine.
