Making termbases read-only
Having a read-only termbase means that the content is available for viewing and searching, but not for editing. A read-only termbase is useful to send to someone outside your organization if you only want them to view the termbase data.
About this task
When you are working with a read-only termbase:
- You can browse and search the termbase entries in exactly the same way that you browse and search other termbases.
- You can print out termbase entries.
- You cannot modify the content of a read-only termbase.
- You cannot create or modify Termbase Objects for the termbase.
- You cannot import data to the termbase or export data from the termbase.
