MultiTerm provides you with three default entry classes to apply to your termbase entries. You can expand the entry class inventory responsible for limiting access to termbase entries, by creating customized entry classes. Entry classes enable you to group, search and restrict access to your termbase entries.
Procedure
- In MultiTerm, access the Administrator view (if not already logged in):
- Add a server connection to MultiTerm. Go to .
- Select Administrator in the Navigation area.
- Select Log in from the Ribbon and fill in the credentials for the MultiTerm server.
- Expand the Server tree in the navigation pane.
- Select the termbase and select Edit Entry Classes from the Ribbon.
- In the Create Entry Classes dialog, consult the list of existing entry classes for the termbase.
- Enter the name of the new entry class in the Entry class name box, and select Add.
The new entry class is added to the Termbase entry classes list.
