Editing termbase entries
When the information in the termbase entry is no longer relevant, you can edit it at any time.
About this task
The first time you edit a term, you are prompted to trust MultiTerm. Check the Always trust content from this publisher box and select Run to close the security warning and continue editing the new term.
Procedure
Editing using the keyboard
The Default layout includes an Enhanced editing mode that enables you to edit entries using keyboard navigation and shortcuts.

| Deactivate/activate new Enhanced edit mode | Ctrl+E |
| Navigate between fields | ↑ Up and Down ↓ keyboard arrows |
| Navigate between terms | ← Left and Right → keyboard arrows |
| Edit current field | Enter or F2 Press Enter again to save the edits. |
| Add new term | F2, Enter - when cursor is at top Language level. Shift+T - when cursor is at any position in the Language field. |
| Add term field | Insert |
| Add new line | Shift+Enter. Only available for fields that allow multi-lines. |
| Delete selected field, term or target language | Delete |
| Open termbase language drop-down menu | Shift+L |
| Change the order of the synonyms | Shift+↑/↓ |
| Undo previous action | Ctrl+Z |
| Redo previous action | CTRL+Y |
Customizing keyboard shortcuts
Unlike the general MultiTerm keyboard shortcuts, the shortcuts specific to the Enhanced edit mode are not configurable.
