Adding output to a publication
You add output to your publication from a list of available formats.
Before you begin
Output formats must be defined in Organize Space by an administrator.
Procedure
- In Publication Manager, open a publication.
- Select the Output tab.
- Click New in the upper left of the toolbar.
The Select Output Format dialog box appears.
- Select the format you want, then click Next.
The Add Publication Output dialog appears.
- If not selected, you must select the desired language from the select list in the Language combination field.
If your style sheets support combining multiple languages in one output, you can select multiple languages. The order in which the languages are listed in Selected values is the order in which the languages appear in the output.
- Optionally, set the fallback languages.
If content is not available in the requested languages, the fallback language that you selected is used.Note: Some options must be supported by your stylesheets.
Option Description Metadata values in the output Each topic is preceded by a table with metadata. Comments Includes to the contents of <draft-comment>elements appear in the draft output.Differences with a previous version If your publication has multiple versions, you can choose to have draft outputs show differences with a previous version by selecting the Differences with version checkbox and selecting the version from the drop-down list. - Add a Review End Date.
When using reviewing tools (such as Review Space), when the Review End Date is reached, reviewers can no longer modify the content of the publication.The output format is added to the output list for the publication, the status is To Be Published. The output format is not immediately published, publishing is a separate step.
