Setting up personalization and profiling involves creating Target Groups and Tracked categories and associating Component Presentations with Target Groups.

About this task

Procedure

  1. On your Content Delivery Server, install and configure Profiling & Personalization on your Presentation Server.
  2. In your Content Manager, create Target Groups and Tracked categories.
  3. Modify your Page Templates to implement Personalization & Profiling.
  4. In your Pages that uses these Page Templates, associate Component Presentations the Target Groups.
  5. Publish the Pages.
