ARR Overview
If you use SDL Contenta, IIS, and Tomcat together, you need to set up ARR.
Microsoft Application Request Routing (ARR) for IIS is a proxy-based routing module that forwards HTTP requests to content server based on HTTP headers, server variables, and load balance algorithms.
- Upgrade
- If you are upgrading Contenta and you are currently using the ISAPI redirector to use IIS 7 or higher in conjunction with Apache Tomcat, replace ISAPI with ARR.
- Installation
- In an installation scenario that combines Contenta, IIS 7 or higher and Tomcat, set up ARR.
