Associating a Tool with an Object
Procedure
- In Contenta Explorer, click Tools > Options.
- Click the Double-Click Preferences tab.
- Click the object to modify, and then click Edit.
The Edit Tool Preferences window appears
- Select the tool which you want to be launched when you double click on the object. If you select [No default tool assigned to object] then when you double-click on the object, an application interface is not launch.
Note: If you assign a click-activated tool to a container object, note that you cannot open the container to view its contents by double-clicking on it in the list view (in the right pane of Contenta Explorer). You can open the object by double-clicking it in the tree view (the left pane) of Contenta Explorer.
Values in the Double-Click Preferences tab are written into the registry under the following path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Contenta > Settings > Activated Tool
Use the Tools > Options > Registry Settings option in the Contenta Explorer to modify Contenta registry settings.
