Correcting posting problems

Perform these steps to correct posting errors caused by user locks.

About this task

If one or more objects in the ContentRoutingProject or standard Project cannot be posted, the post operation fails and Contenta generates an error message such as the following.

Procedure

  1. Display the user locks in the object display area by selecting the Customize List View option on the Edit menu and then selecting Owner Lock.
  2. Select the project and identify objects with user locks as indicated in the Owner Lock field in the object display area.
  3. Select the object(s) with an owner lock.
  4. Remove the lock with the Unlock option on the Edit menu.

What to do next

If you cannot remove the user lock, but still must post the project, do the following.
  1. Use the UnMark option on the Post List tab for the object(s).
  2. Post the project.

    The unmarked object is not posted, but other objects in the Post List are posted.
