Installing the Contenta Client Software
If installing a single client, or installing to create the response file for a silent install (Windows only), continue with this installation procedure.
The Contenta Explorer installation program has three setup types. Before you begin, choose your installation type from the following table, then proceed to the appropriate procedure.
| Setup Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Compact | Installs the minimum software required for Contenta Explorer. This option type does not install standard Contenta Administration programs nor does it allow access to the Dynamic Import tool. Proceed to Performing a Typical or Compact Installation below. |
| Typical | Installs most of the Contenta Explorer software available for standard and purchased functions. This option type does not install standard Contenta Administration functions. Proceed to Performing a Typical or Compact Installation below. |
| Custom | Lets you select the components that are installed. Select this option for Contenta Administrators—this option installs Contenta Administration programs and editor-specific tool software. See the Performing a Custom Installation topic. |
