Intermediate Files
- The Drive File
The XML DriveFile created during the Split process is named document<pid>.xml and is located in the drivefiles directory. For example, if your map file is named book.map, the drive file may be named book123.xml. It is a valid XML document as shown on the following pages. - Component Files
The Split process creates one file for each document component described in the DriveFile. These files reside in a subdirectory in the WORKDIR or working directory. The subdirectory is named document-pid where pid is the process identification number of the Split process. - Other Files
Dynamic Import creates other, intermediate files during processing that are saved only when debug mode is specified in the command. Examine these intermediate, debug files for additional information if errors occur.
