Setting the SSL Flag Value on Linux

When you install Contenta Web and Contenta clients, you are prompted to indicate the web protocol (http or https) Contenta will use. After installation, to change the protocol used, you must edit the registry.

About this task

To specify the web protocol (http or https) to be used by Contenta on Linux platforms, edit the registry for the Web Server and Contenta clients.
Perform the following steps on the Contenta Web Server and Contenta clients to configure the web protocol.

Procedure

  1. On Linux, open a Command window.
  2. At the command line, use the fileregedit utility to set the value of the appropriate registry key as shown in the following table.
    On the...Set this registry key...To...
    Web Servercw_sslFlag1 for https or 0 for http (default)
    Contenta Clientwebprotocolhttps for https or http for http (default)

  3. Once the value of the key is set, close the Command window.
