Specifying Field Order

To specify the order in which fields appear in the Property Sheet:

Procedure

  1. Start the Contenta Administration tool, pcmadmin, in singleuser mode (see Executing the Administration Tool ).
  2. Access the list of Property Sheets, and open the Property Sheet that you want to modify (see Accessing the Fields For Property Sheet Window, Step 2).
  3. Click Order to access the Change Field Order window.
    The Current Order list displays the current order of fields in the Property Sheet. The New Order list shows the rearranged order. At first, this list is blank.
  4. Specify field data as described in this table:

    Add a field to the New Order list

    Click an entry in the Current Order list, and then click Add or double click on an entry in the Current Order list.

    The fields are added in the order they are selected.

    Remove an entry from the New Order list

    Click an entry, and then click Remove or double click on the entry.

    The entry moves to the Current Order list.

    Insert an entry in a specific position in the Property Sheet

    Click the entry in the Current Order list

    Click the entry in the New Order list above where you want to insert the entry.

    Click Insert.

    The field name appears above the entry in the New Order list.

    • Use the Select All option to move all fields in the Current Order list to the New Order list. The order is maintained. You can use this option with Add or Insert to reorder the position of the fields in the New Order list.

    • To save your changes and exit the Change Field Order window, click Save.

    The Fields for Property Sheet window is updated.
