Tool Preferences

Your editor uses information that you store in Contenta Tool Preferences to build a header when you open a structured document for editing or viewing.

The editor uses the stored DATATYPE value as the file extension for the exported data file and the PUBID value to build the header. If the DATATYPE value is XML; it uses the XMLDECL value to build the XML declaration (version) header information

These topics explain how to store the DATATYPE, PUBID, and XMLDECL values in Contenta and how the editor uses them.
