Active task field
The Active Task field above the hierarchy display area is active when a ContentRoutingProject object is selected in either the hierarchy display area or the object display area.
- If the user has one task in a project, the Active Task will alway be set to that task for it.
- For users with multiple tasks in a project, the Active Task is updated automatically as the user selects objects within a Content Routing Project.
The Routing Task selected in the Active Task field allows you to determine at what task you want objects to enter the workflow. Selecting a Routing Task before reusing data objects into the Content Routing Project will place the new objects at that task in the workflow. Use this only to move objects into the Start task, otherwise if you move objects to other tasks you cannot specify the routing user/team member.
The projman’s Active Task field displays all of the tasks in the workflow whether the projman is a team member for the task or not. This allows a projman user to forward objects to other tasks when the Routing User is not available. A non-projman user must be a team member for a task in order for the task to appear in the Active Task field.
