Creating ContentRoutingProject or standard Project objects
Perform these steps to create a new project object.
Procedure
- Execute the Contenta Explorer as a ProjMan user.
- Open the container in which the project is to be located.
- Do one of the following.
- To create a new ContentRoutingProject object, click File > New Object > ContentRoutingProject.
- To create a new standard Project object, click File > New Object > Project.
- Complete the Property Sheet fields in the New Project Property Sheets as described in the following table.
Field Description Name Enter the name of the ContentRoutingProject or Project in this required field. Creator Contenta automatically inserts your login name in this field when you click OK. Due Date Optionally, enter the date the project is due. Access a calendar to assign the due date by clicking the arrow button to the right of the field.
Workflow Template The default entry WF_write_review is selected. To specify a different template, click the arrow button to the right of the field and select the name of the desired Workflow template from the drop-down menu.
Current Routing This is a non-editable field. Each time you forward a standard Project, Contenta updates the Current Routing field. The ContentRoutingProject itself does not track the current routing status, which is tracked on its child objects.
Routing History This is a non-editable field. Each time you forward a ContentRoutingProject or standard Project, Contenta updates the routing history. Access Level The default value is secure. To specify a different value, click the arrow button to the right of the field and select the desired access level from the drop-down menu. Contenta users with an access level lower than the level specified cannot view or access the ContentRoutingProject or Project.
Note: The descriptions of Property Sheet fields in the table correspond to those delivered in the Contenta metadata file. If the Contenta System Administrator (sysadmin) has customized the Property Sheet, the fields and/or their titles may differ. Ask your System Administrator for descriptions of any custom fields. - After completing the field entries, click OK to create the Project and exit the property sheet.
