Executing command line utilities on Linux
This topic contains considerations for executing command line utilities on a Linux system.
Note the following when issuing commands on a Linux system.
- Enter commands at a command prompt.
- Make certain that the pdm.cshrc file has been sourced. This file is located in the /pdm/bin directory, as in the following example.
source /pdm/bin/pdm.cshrc - Path names with embedded spaces must be entered within double quotes, such as the following.
“/pdm/bin/verilk” - Before executing command utilities, verify that the
PATHvariable contains the /pdm/bin directory path. - Use SID to identify the database.
