First-time users site-specific information

Contenta Administrators must provide information for Contenta Web users before they can log in and import objects.

The following table contains information you need to log in to Contenta Web.
Contenta Web URLSite address for access to the Contenta Web login page.

Provde a fully-qualified server name for ensured connection success.

For example:

http://<CWebserve.world.company.corp>/cw/standard/code/CWLoginForm.jsp

The following fields are on the login page when the Show Advanced Login Options is selected. It is necessary to enter data in these fields when you login; they contain the connect information for logging on to the servers and to the Contenta database.

Click the Show Advanced Login Options link on the login page to access the following fields.

Database:This is the name of the Contenta database.
Node:This is the name of the Contenta Server.
Socket:

This is the portal number over which the web server and the Contenta database server communicate.

Default: 6050

The following tables contain information that you need to import documents into the Contenta database.

If there is no detailed, site-specific information in the table, print this page and ask your system administrator for the details. You can record the information on the printed page for future use. Note that the import tool may not be available to you; ask your System Administrator if you have permission to use the Dynamic Import.
