Standard Tool Notes
- The standard web tools use the CW API and the Contenta API and follow the recommended architecture for web tools.
- A third party applet is used to support uploading of multiple files during the import process.
- If applet support is enabled, multiple file transfer during import will be supported as needed.
- If applet support is disabled, only single file transfer support will be available during import and the import directory will not be remembered between sessions.
- A third party applet is used to support branch node editing of CompoundAscii objects (to support multiple file transfers) and to enhance support for editing single nodes (unstructured data).
- Enabling the applet
- for single node editing (unstructured data) -> will enable enhanced support for co/ci – e.g., remembering the checkout directory etc.
- for leaf node editing (structured data ) -> will enable enhanced support for co/ci – e.g., remembering the checkout directory etc..
- branch node (parent node) ci/co/fetch will be supported with support for remembering a checkout directory.
- If applet support is disabled:
- Checkout directory will not be remembered between sessions.
- Branch Node editing will not be allowed.
