Temporary files created during the installation process
The installation process creates temporary files to the standard operating system-specified temporary directory during installation.
The service pack installation process writes temporary files to these locations during installation:
- On Windows, the folder is %TEMP%.
- On Linux, the directory is /tmp.
Typically, when the installation process completes these temporary files are removed automatically. If these files are not deleted automatically, you can delete them manually without adversely impacting the product functionality.
