The ProjMan roles

There is one ProjMan responsible for the whole or main project, and another for the sub-projects.

As shown in the sample workflow that follows, the main ProjMan is responsible for creating the main project and populating it with all the objects that need to be edited, changed, authored, and/or modified.

At the End task, the main ProjMan is responsible for posting the main project.

The second ProjMan (assigned to Sub-Project Coordination task as shown in the sample workflow is responsible for:

  1. creating the sub-projects and assigning them the appropriate workflow
  2. populating the sub-projects by separating the text objects from the illustration or graphic objects in the main project, and link-copying them into the subprojects
  3. forwarding the sub-projects into their workflows. Each sub-project goes through a different sub-workflow as shown in the example.

You may want to create a custom role for the second ProjMan such as a Coordinator role. Since the Coordinator must create and populate projects within a project, make certain the role has the appropriate permissions to accomplish the assignment—you can base this custom role on the ProjMan role.
