The SDL Contenta Administration Client
The SDL Contenta system administration software is installed when you choose the Custom install option when installing the SDL Contenta Explorer software.
The administration software is installed from the SDL Contenta installation CD when you choose the Custom installation type. Make certain that your system was installed with the SDL Contenta administration software.
- objects and tools
- user roles and tool boxes
- property sheets
- access levels
- tools and tool definitions—type, platforms, application, and so on
- web browser definitions—platforms, server definitions, and so on
- export the metadata from a database
- create a tool box report
- create a tool-by-object report
Additional software installed with the administration software allows system administrators to access the database using the SDL Contenta command language (pcmcmd) program or through the SDL Contenta Administration (pcmadmin) tool. It also installs programs for database creation, export, import, and so on.
