Tracking a standard Project
There are several methods you can use to track a standard Project.
- Display the Routing History by the selecting the Routing History tab.
- Display the object’s Routing History Property Sheet.
- View the Routing Task of the object in the Workflow display area.
Routing History for a standard Project
To display the routing history for the Project, select the Project in the hierarchy and click the Routing History at the bottom of the Contenta Explorer window.
- The Project’s current task and the team member or workpool assigned to the task.
- A history of the tasks that have been completed and the team members who completed them.
- The dates when the completed tasks were forwarded and their scheduled due dates.
Project Property Sheet information
Access a Project’s Property Sheet to determine the Project’s due date, and the current task and team member, or to display the Project’s Routing History. To access the Property Sheet you can follow either method described below.
- Right-click the Project and then click Property Sheet from the drop-down menu.
- Select the Project and click .
- The Due Date field in the Property Sheet displays the due date for the Project.
- The Current Routing field shows the current task, the number of the current task (where the task is in the Workflow), and the team member assigned to the task.
- Use the Routing History field to access the Routing History report window. Click the Routing History to access the Routing History report window. To resize a field in the report, click the right mouse button on its border (line) and drag the border until the field is the desired size.
Click Cancel to close the report window.
Standard Project Workflow
Display the Project’s Workflow for a graphical view of the current task—that is, the task in the workflow where the Project currently resides. The current task is highlighted in yellow.
