A Dynamic List Page displays a main article and a configurable number of Article or News Article Pages per Page.

When you create a News Article Page, a new main Article Component is created for you containing dummy content. You can edit or replace the content.

Sorting

Configure the sorting of the Components are displayed on the Page using Component metadata.
Procedure
- Open your Web site in Experience Manager.
- In the Home tab of the Ribbon, click .
- From the library pane, select Dynamic List Page.
- Specify the following properties:
- Page Title—enter the internal name of the Page
- File Name—enter the name of the Page as it appears in the browser address bar
- Page Location—accept the default, or click Change and select the section of the Web site you want the Page to appear in.
Note: A naming convention is used to hide or display Pages in the navigation: sections that use a numeric prefix consisting of 3 numbers, for example 010 Articles, are displayed, sections that omit the prefix are displayed only in the breadcrumb, and sections prefixed with a underscore (_) are not visible in the navigation structure.
- Folders for Components—if you want to store the default Components containing dummy content that are created when you create a Section Page in a different location, click Configure Folders for Components, select a new Folder and click Apply to confirm your choice.
- Click Create Page.
A new Dynamic List Page is created.
- Change the main article page inline:
- Change the image—browse to and select a new background image
- Change the text—enter body text, subheading and content
- Add media—add additional multimedia and captions
- Click Show Properties in the top right corner of the Component and in the Metadata section, click Edit. Modify the following properties:
- Content Type—select Article or New Article from the drop-down menu
- Number of Items to display—by default, 5 Articles are displayed per page
- Sort Results By—choose the method to sort content from one of the following:
- Content date
- Item title
- Last published date
- No sorting
